Mitacs Globalink Research Internship Program Mitacs Globalink offers top Vietnamese undergraduate students a fully-funded 10-12 week research internship under the supervision of a Canadian professor in one of 30+ universities across Canada where they will gain professional research experience working alongside graduate students and research associates in their host university. Each successful candidate will have: Their international flight reimbursed up to $1,500 CDN The cost of their visa reimbursed Their accommodations, in student housing at their host university campus, covered by Mitacs. A weekly stipend of $200 to support their cost of living Access to professional development workshops and different industry site visits, networking events and social events A Canadian graduate student mentor (who will pick them up at the airport, organize social events and provide advice and support throughout their stay) Access to student services on their host university campus Health insurance (arranged and paid for by Mitacs) As one of six countries (Vietnam, Turkey, Mexico, Brazil, China, India) whose students are eligible to apply, successful candidates will also have the chance to network and make friends with students from around the world while experiencing the many cultural, educational and social opportunities Canada has to offer. Mitacs Globalink is a highly competitive internship program. Mitacs evaluates each candidate, matches them to an appropriate project and introduces each student to his or her supervisor in Canada.
