Mk2 GTi 8v in magic black - MOT 8th December 2015 170k £1550ono Mansfield This has had a good £800+ spent on it in recent months Want this gone asap as Ive got my eye on my next car so make me an offer. 07522745763 Good points: New rear brake discs and pads New rear wheel bearings New outer CV joint on front near side New steering rack boot Brakes are brilliantly responsive New front offside brake hose New clutch cable (massive improvement to the feel of the clutch) New rear brake load sensing valve spring (was seized) Oil/oil filter change done in November Underneath and all structural and jacking points are solid following welding Headlight re-alignment Low emissions Interior is like new No bolster wear Coilovers Resprayed when with previous owner (approx 2 years ago) in original colour 15x6 G60 steel wheels (not 14 ones often mistaken for) which were also refurbished by previous owner After-market back box makes for a nice exhaust note Very nippy with light steering that handles well Bad points: The oil filter housen leaks oil but very slowly The gear linkage is a bit loose but no problems during gear changes Has a boot lock but no mechanism so it has to be opened from the inside (never bothered me) Nearside windscreen wiper squeegee separating Rusted near the trim in a couple of areas There are no receipts for the welding (not done in a garage - a friend whos a welder by trade) however I do have receipts for the new parts
