Mobile Uploads Someone please help this little guy!!!!! I just received this message from a friend: Over the weekend, a friend of mine was at the Silverlake Reservoir and came across this dog chained to the fence. She waited for hours for an owner but no one arrived. The park attendant nearby said he had been there all morning. He is now in the shelter and has until Thursday at 9 am before he will be put down but we’re hoping to find a foster or adopter before that time so any help you can provide with networking etc is much appreciated! He is an unaltered 1 or 2 year old brown and white 55 lb male pit bull mix. He is at the North Central Shelter under the ID # A1438196. For the short time he was at my friend’s house, and said he got along well with her dog and cats. He was very friendly, clean and well fed so it’s likely he was someone’s pet who got too big and was dumped near a dog park in hopes someone would take care of him. Let me know if you have any friends or family looking to foster or adopt- My friend will pay all the fees involved in retrieving him from the shelter and will provide transport if they live within 3 hours of LA. ---- If you can help let me know!!!
