Modern youth Yesterday a 15 yr old girl was due to come here to start a weeks work experience from school. I spoke to her on the phone & arranged a time to meet her off the bus in Earlston village square. At the due time, I arrived in the square - no girl. I drove home thinking my assistant may have collected her; she had just received a call from said girls mother saying she had got off at the wrong stop in St Boswells some 5 miles away! I drove to St Boswells & after circling the town - no girl. I then drove to Newtown St Boswells (2.5 miles away) & lo & behold, a teenage girl was waiting at the bus stop! I despair with modern youth.....
