Modi want’s Delhi Gates may open for 7 expelled MLAs of BJP Chetan Sharma Believe it or not but it is true that ignoring the sentiments of state cadre the central leadership of Bharatiya Janta Party is all set to reinstate its so-called rebellions, Struggling to get near the corridor’s of power in upcoming 2014 Parliamentary elections Bharatiya Janta Party is all set to call back all of its seven MLAs who have been charged as sell-outs and firm allegation of voting against their own party candidates in MLC elections held in 2010 were made against them. It may be recalled that in 2010 Bharatiya Janta Party filed Thakur Ranjeet singh as its candidate for election to the upper house in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. But unfortunately he got four votes out of eleven MLAs of his own party, Thereafter the high drama of expulsions of these seven MLAs started. Now the Parliamentary Board (PB), the highest decision making body of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is likely to reinstate all 7 expelled MLAs of the party. After anointment of Narendra Modi as party’s Prime Ministerial Candidate for the 2014 polls, the party has deiced to forge unity in the party cadres across the country including Jammu and Kashmir. “The party has set a target of about 200 plus seats in upcoming Lok Sabha elections, while Modi and BJP know that the party would not get much success in south and eastern India and its major stake is only in central and north India”, sources said adding that for this the party needs to strike unity in its cadres. Modi, according to the sources, has suggested the PB to patch up with the rebellion cadres across the country. And with this cause, Modi himself visited the residence of former Gujarat Chief Minster, Keshubhai Patel, his arch rival in Gujarat, on his 64th birthday to seek his blessings,” sources said. They said that PB has bypassed Party state unit and initiated talks with the group of 7 MLAs, headed by Prof Chaman Lal Gupta. It is understood that Narendar Modi would soon convene a meeting with these expelled leaders in New Delhi and pave way for their reentry in the party. According to the sources, the expelled leaders have also opened communication channel with team Modi bypassing the state BJP unit. If the sources in the state BJP are to be believed, than the leaders like Ashok Khajuria, Nirmal Singh and above all the state BJP chief Jugal Kishor a strong contender for Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary seat are in a state of shock over these developments happing at the end of its central leadership as if it all happens Prof. Chaman Lal Gupta may emerge more power full than ever before sources added. Pertinently, earlier it was commonly believed that BJPs national leadership has solely authorized party’s state unit to decide about the fate of the expelled leaders. During his visit to Jammu recently, BJP National president, Rajnath Singh had also reiterated that the state unit was free to decide on the issue.
