Moel Arthur hillfort is a special place . It is surrounded by folklore . Said to be the strong hold of a great chieftain , the burial place of Boudica and haunted by a woman who appears to anyone who is near her secret hoard of gold. Its a place to go when no-one else is there. The sky and the the top of the hill sometimes nearly meet . Thankfully it is said to be guarded from the spades of antiquarians...let them dare to dig and storms break out If you do meet the woman who guards the hill run because it has been said if she meets you , you could end up mad or dead ...
