Mom Post Not so much step parent related. Today I got a call from someone I know and they said they saw my ss in the office today and he looked upset. So I called the school today ( I had called to set up a conference with his teacher yesterday and she hadnt got back to me yet) so I asked about the conference and I asked about the why he was in the office and I hadnt got a call to inform me. We talked about my ss in class but then when I asked about the office visit she said the principal called him in and she didnt know why. Then she said she was at liberty to discuss it with me but I could ask him when he got home. I was too upset to go up to the school and I wasnt sure if I was over reacting so I left it alone till he got home. When I asked he said he wasnt in trouble but the principal asked if he had seen anything happen with his coach and one of his friends and he said no. I asked if that was all and he said they also made hi m sign a paper but he didnt read it (hes in first grade). When I called the school they said they werent at liberty to discuss it.
