Mom Post So my stepdaughter was told to never call me mom. She was told that I never will be so she shouldnt call me that. Yes technically her mother is correct... I wont ever be her true blood related, giving birth mother but I am her mother here in this home none the less and her love her just like I do my three biological kids. When my stepdaughter comes over she constantly talks about her step dad and even to my dhs face (her actual dad) she says My dad did this My dad gave me this my dad has this TO MY DHs FACE as if he isnt her real dad. It is tearing him apart. The mother wont let her call me mom (we dont force it nor will I ever but to scare a child out of something they are confortable with... I dont stand for. She was excited and so happy that she can call me mom like my kids and it made her feel wanted and accepted and now she just is nervous and doesnt like to call me mom and acts scared when she slips) anyways what would you do if your stepchild was told to never ever call you mom or dad but then to find out she is encouraged and told to call her step dad just dad and even calls him dad to her actual dads face etc. its parent alienation honestly. what would you all do in this situation? I personally am fine being called my name. That is ok. If she is comfortable with it then great. If she wants to call me mom thats fine too. I answer no matter what... but what would you do in this situation? (the mother is hard to deal with... she is incredibly greedy, lies and is so selfish and backstabs horrible... saying one thing to your face and another behind your back and to other people... she is hard to talk to bc she will just agree to your face but say something totally different and act the opposite behind your back. My stepdaughter is 11 so she isnt dumb. she knows what is going on... she is just tossed and scared as to what to do) rp No Bashing Please Ruby
