Mom and Dad gave me the gift of the world of music in the first half of the last century. They loved Stephan Foster. A Mounty and an Indian girl (One of the Original People) singing Indian Love Song got them tearing up. And Gershwin? He was the Cats Meow. Gene Singing in the Rain and dancing? Well, dont get me started on musicals.... Just some more of those wonderful gifts they gave me that made me the person I am today. But by far their favorites were a guy with the biggest nose in the known universe and a guy with the biggest smile in the business and a heart equally as big as that of the guy they called Jimmy.
