Mom and I wanted to take a minute to publicly thank the incredible staff at Animal Specialty and Emergency Center (ASEC) in Los Angeles, CA for taking such great care of me and my ears. Dr. Scott Anderson performed my TECA-BO surgeries, and, well...I think you can see for yourself just how talented he is. He was diligent, patient, compassionate, and extremely informative during the entire month-long process. TECA-BOs have a moderate rate of complications including facial nerve paralysis and equilibrium issues, and we were warned to be prepared for these due to the extreme condition of my ears. But because of his superb talent and quality of care, I had no complications and recovered quickly. Friends, if youre in the Southern California area (or frankly, anywhere in/near California), I HIGHLY recommend pursuing specialty treatment at ASEC and/or with Dr. Anderson. They are very rescue-friendly and transparent. The care I received was unparalleled, and because of Dr. Anderson, I am healthier and happier than ever.
