Mom do you remember what you told me? That a man is never to lay his hands on a woman and not to follow your path... This is for you Mom, I will teach my kids the same thing you taught me... The 1st one that tried to lay his hands on me was the one that I busted his lip & they took him to jail, the 2nd one thought he was going to corner me & when Nokey busted in the room it was me that had him cornered. the 3rd one that laid his hands on me I just called the cops, the right thing to do. I had to learn this on my own as you always taught me to defend myself but you never told me not to lay my hands on a guy. I would never allow myself to be hit. but so young I was when it happened to me. you were beat and mistreated for so many years. I thank you for showing me to defend myself, to never allow this to happen to me. You took this to the grave with you Mom, still had so much hate, anger, hostility which I dont blame you. I pray to never have to go through this again cuz if I ever do I dont know how I would act or be, knowing that this is one of the things that killed you.... I love you Mom and will defend your honor til I die.
