Mom, no one has to tell me how lucky I am to have you, because Ive known for a long time. When I think back over the years and remember all the special things youve done for me, I realize that youre not only a wonderful mom, but youre also a unique woman. Youve taught me so much about life and love and giving, and those are lessons Ill never forget. You showed me how to stand on my own in the world, and for that Ill always be grateful.so many things that have contributed to my happiness have been gifts from you... maybe having a mom like you has spoiled me a bit, but dont ever think I dont appreciate Moms know when wed rather not stand alone, Moms know when we need to be on our own, Moms know when things dont go our way, Moms know when theres something we want to say, Moms know both our happiness and our tears, And moms know whats best for us all through the years! Mom, somehow you always knew what was best for me, even before I knew it myself. You knew what I needed while I only thought about what I wanted. You made me understand that some of the best things in life are worth waiting for... And through all the stages of growing up, you let me do just that -- grow! You knew -- somehow you always knew -- just what I needed most. Mother Youre an Inspiration to Me as a Parent you taught me to value the right things in life, You taught me what goals I should set, You taught me to be someone others can trust - These are lessons Ill never forget. You lovingly showed me, in your gnetle way, What you thought all children should know - And now as I thank you for all of those lessons That I still appreciate so, I want to remind you how much they all meant And how happy and proud I would be If I, as a parent, could pass on those lessons That you, as a parent, taught me.
