Moms new poem she just brought to me....... she has way too much time on her hands. lol The old saying “when you get old your kids become your boss” If you ever get to think that way Then you are surely at a loss Just spend a moment to think it over Seniors don’t care to live in the clover We still have those moments to reminisce But just a good meal can now feel like bliss Many long nights of dancing Were a party to our life It helped in the long run to forget any strife Our home life wasn’t easy Working hard and always busy But it’s never fair for any age To compare the change from stage to stage The best rule to follow To keep staying fit Enjoy each day and maintain your wit Trust in God and don’t forget to pray And just be thankful for each day Love your kin and hold them close So they will never treat you gross Always remember that your family is dear And anything they do for you Is love and really sincere
