He says that Baramulla is completely safe and water level in Jhelum is slowly rising but since heavy dredging was done recently and due to Baramullas terrain, water wont rise much. People rescued from Srinagar are at Degree College Baramulla, Rangwar Hostel, District Hospitals, Marriage halls and in local homes. Locals and Colony/Mohalla committees are collecting food and other necessary items and distributing among the thousands who have shifted there. Dewanbagh and Jetty Khwajabagh residents are on alert as these areas are close to jhelum. Rest everything is fine.
