Monday: August 09, 2013 - Vacation #1/Connecticut Trip/Nate’s Wedding This is my last entry from this trip. I woke up with the rising sun along Lake Erie. Travel an area of Ohio which I haven’t been too. AMTK 49 was nearing Toledo. Train got to Vickers Junction and saw more construction going on there. AMTK 49 the Lake Shore Limited arrived into Toledo Union Station @ about 8:30AM. I got off train quickly with all my stuff. Amtrak has no direct rail connection between Detroit-Toledo, so a bus in place of passenger rail service. Amtrak bus was a Trinity Transportation motor-coach. The bus took all the Michigan Amtrak passengers including us from Toledo station. I went back to sleep on the bus and woke up at the Baltimore St. Amtrak Train Station in Detroit. Stay up till we reach the Dearborn Amtrak Station. I called Dad and he picked up Mom and I. Got home and went to sleep…in my own bed…Zzz…Overall I had a wonderful trip out east to Connecticut and a little western detour to Chicagoland. –End Of Line…^_^
