Monday Matters - One Tiny Bite at a Time Christmas Gratituded… Dear Olivia Newton-John, Today I am having a moment of reflection and gratitude. A moment I am grateful to recall ? THIS: A couple of years ago, I had positioned myself in front of you. (No not a stalking moment)…. I waited patiently in the audience at your book launch to have my turn at the microphone. I had never spoken publicly but this fear-less day really happened. (Its funny how your fearlessness can be larger than you sometimes…) I was the last to have the opportunity to put forward a question to you at this Questions & Answers event, and release of your latest healthy recipe book. READY SET GO Lisa!…..I stood up. Yes me! I spoke with you as if we were alone in the room and the rest of the audience seemed to have melted away… I remembered nothing except the people clapping, people standing up, some people crying. I am not sure what I had said, or how you had responded, but at that very point, it was the beginning of the rest of my life,( the one where I became a writer, an author and a very new version of myself). You had offered me encouragement, and introduced me to your publishers after your launch/event. Wow. Thank you for being MY PUSH FORWARD! I was nervous, new, and unaware of the process. It took a while, but I have had an incredible time of it, and yes, finally….. This year 2014, my first book was published with Amazon, and my second one will be out shortly. I feel blessed, happy, well, grateful, (a little tired) but so very, very excited! So many wonderful things have happened to me since this photo of us was taken. Amazing, beautiful people have come into my life, oh, and I got my eyesight back….Very important writing tool... (Thank you Stem cell treatments in Panama)! I know you wouldnt recognise me now Olivia, and thats okay, really. I was supposed to have met you at this time in my life, to then be steered towards the NEXT part of my story. How lucky am I? Very! I can see, I am well, and I have been able to share all that I have learned in these books. I really wanted to do that, and you were in my earliest moments of making that happen. Thank you. Lisa Brown
