Monday Morning Meditation: Love Your Labor Day! If you are like most of us there those you do, and others, well, not so much. For those days, which I hope are few and far between for you, I would like to offer a short, simple and powerful exercise, one of several I experienced at a "Day of Mindfulness" retreat with Thich Nat Hahn in upstate New York. (Highly recommended!) Sit quietly and as you breathe in say to yourself, "Breathing in I know that I am breathing in. " As you breathe out say "Breathing out I know that I am breathing out.” Its something you can practice daily and/or keep in your pocket for emergencies. Would love to know what you think!
