Mondays Three. 1. I am so very grateful that I am neither judge nor jury of any living thing. Every time I get all fired up about some persons grievous crime I am forced to admit that I dont know what Im talking about. Facts are hard to come by. Unfortunately, lies make headlines and truth is sometimes elusive. I have a whole stack of opinions but they are best kept to myself until I learn the rest of the story. Given a chance to hear the whole story usually means I discard most of those opinions. I am grateful for that bit of reality. Truth is rarely black or white but generously shaded by both colors. 2. I am thankful to have become acquainted with my own kind of truth. It is simple really, Is it kind? Does it help in any way to speak my truth? Have I kept to truth or have I colored it to make it more palatable to my self esteem? 3. I dont have Diogenes lantern but I do my own kind of truth seeking by trying to keep my own act clean. I am so thankful that I have learned at least this much about life.
