Month of Thanks Day #15 On this day I am SO VERY THANKFUL that I have been given the spirit and the personality that I have! I know in days gone by I have said, If only I could be different. If only I could be quieter, care about people less, not work so hard... Well, let me just say that after the last couple of weeks helping to raise awareness in our community about Child Hunger, I AM THRILLED that I have been given a voice, that I care about people, and that I (and MANY others) have been doing the work that needs to be done! Thank you to all of the people who have donated their time, their talents and their money to make this initiative become a reality! I actually met one of the families yesterday, benefitting from the Weekend Backpack Program and the mom had tears in her eyes as she spoke with me about what they are going thru and what this means to them. Be blessed, BE A BLESSING TODAY :D
