Moon (2009) One of the most thought provoking Sci-Fi films you must see. Plot: Sam Rockwell plays Sam Bell, a man contracted to mine the moon for precious resources that are shipped back to Earth, providing 70% of our planets energy. He is nearing the end of his three year contract, and cannot wait to make the return trip to our blue marble and see his wife and daughter. Watched Moon recently. It was awesome and engaging emotionally. Sam Rockwell gives amazing performances and Kevin Spacey as the voice of GERTY was great casting. The films score is perfect, the story cleverly unveils shocking truth after shocking truth, and all this from a first-time director. This was definitely one of the best sci fi movies ever. One that seems like any other space suspense movie but turns out to be incredibly shocking and mind blowing. And if you think you know the plot twist or what happens, be ready for a surprise.
