Moose, the Mayor of Solitaire has died. Percy Cross (his real name) became a part of Namibias tourism heritage as the friendly face of Solitaire. He was well known for his apfelstrudel and coffee on the route to and from Sossusvlei and Sesriem. According to reports he developed shortness of breath and fatigue. He died on Saturday, 18 January 2014. Percy Cross leaves his parents and four sisters behind. Rest in Peace my friend. You will be missed.
