More Than Enough Todays Scripture Philippians 4:18-19 At the moment I have all I need—and more! I am generously supplied with the gifts you sent me with Epaphroditus. They are a sweet-smelling sacrifice that is acceptable and pleasing to God. And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus. Todays Word Paul tells us God will “liberally supply” all of our needs. He doesn’t promise God will give us everything we want, but he does assure us God will meet our every need. Many times we think of needs in terms of the basic necessities of life. These represent our physical needs, but I believe God created us to need more than these essentials. We don’t simply need money, nourishment, a roof over our heads, and clothes to wear. We also need wisdom, strength, health, friends, and loved ones; and we need the gifts and talents and abilities to help us do what we are supposed to do in life. We need many things, and God is willing to meet all of our needs when we trust and obey Him. Whatever our needs, be it physical, spiritual, financial, emotional, relational, etc, God is willing and able to supply. Not only can He supply our needs but He is ready to go above and beyond. He simply requires that we trust that Hes able to do this despite how our circumstances may look or feel, and obey His word faithfully. Todays Prayer Father I thank You that there is not one need that I may have that You cannot supply. I pray that You continue to provide for me today, as I continue to walk in Your will endeavoring to obey Your every command. In Jesus name. Amen
