More? TomSmithGuitarist Below you will find a link from Tom Smith’s live recording “Live@theLoft”. The story is called Edgar. It was captured one evening in Redding, California. That evening kicked off what turned into 4 or 5 years of touring small venues around the country on what he referred to as “the great walk-about”. The heart of the album is simply Tom with his guitar and banjo. The communication between him and the audience, the anecdotes about the adventures in being a traveling musician, and the stories of his daughter connect with real people. This album really does touch life. Tom was playing large in his extremely unique style of guitar and banjo. Check it out. You may enjoy it. He is sending it to you for the obvious reason of introducing himself and his work. Also, currently he is finishing a new project: “Nashville Stories,” which is entirely new material, and a few spoken word pieces he has been developing.
