More art in nature arrives at Bernheim today. Artist in residence, Myung Gyun You, who has recently moved to the United States from Korea. While in Kentucky he has been creating a large outdoor sculpture made of wood and wire titled Photosynthesis. Gyun is known for his massive, organic installation works, which are inspired by harmonic energy and explore the relationship between the natural order and human society. He believes that everything in and around us, including the universe, can be reduced to science; single molecules and cells. The piece is now on the move to its home near the Visitor Center.
