More egg problems with my mallard female. I can feel the egg in her, it is small and has the membrane and seems hard, but there is no shell. Shes been trying all day. Calling vet in AM. I dont think she will ever get over this egg problem. She hasnt layed any normal eggs since she saw the vet, but was passing them much easier. Now I feel like its back to square 1. =( Shes not moving much, saw her drink some a bit ago. Shes been in warm baths all evening. My other duck, her sister is very protective of her. I am worried. She isnt straining, but is constantly hunkered down. She is not herself at all, but was acting normal just a few hours ago.
