More great things to do in Vancouver! I recently had the opportunity to experience a tour from Vancouver Foodie Tours one of our fantastic partner tour companies. I chose the Granville Island Market Tour. I must confess I have lunch on Granville Island almost every day, and while I know the history of the Island there is so much to see and eat that it’s hard to know about each of the vendors that make up the Public Market. So I chose the Granville Island Market Tour in hopes to learn more about the vendors and food that make up the Public Market, let’s say I wasn’t disappointed. The Guide Manuela was amazing, personably, knowledgeable and passionate about food and what she does, we spent 2 hours learning about the local vendors and sampling the food from the best spots in the public market! I would recommend this tour to anyone from Vancouver that is interested in learning more about the food from Granville island, and to anyone visiting Vancouver from near or far. It’s definitely going to be something I send my friends and family to do while visit me. Oh and I’m glad I went hungry because I left full and happy feeling, I now understand even more why Granville Island is the second most visited attraction in Canada!
