More often that not I hear single people saying I just want somebody to make me happy. This mindset is too egocentric to work in a mutually respectful relationship. What you should be saying is I just want to share my happiness with another. You shouldnt need other people to make you happy. Happiness has to come from within. It has to come from following your interests and passions, self expression and developing your moral character. You have to be able to make yourself happy before you can even consider making somebody else happy. Dont jump into a relationship if you know you arent emotionally stable enough, youll just end up bringing the other person down.
