More on my Digicel data plan experience:- Digicel sent me a message to say that there is a charge of $1 per kb after the 50mb of data is used. Now this seems insignificant; but heres what the Guyanese public does not know:- The average HD video stream can use as much as 5-Megabytes per minute. This means that Digicel would have charged me their customer $5000 per minute to watch a video in HD. Had the video been 5 minutes long; my charge would have been $25000.(US $125.00) to watch a 5 minute video. Now this is supposed to attract tourists Mr. Minister of Tourism? Im embarrassed to explain this to my 21 year old American daughter. Maybe I should take her to Digicels head office to have the senior most official do the explanation. #ifIAmSilentOnInjusticeIMGuiltyofIt
