More prime examples of graduates from the GICs.... That said, in a way, the Moon is BOTH a satellite AND a planet, according to science. The theory is that the Moon was originally part of the blown-up planet which now we call the Asteroid Belt, & pieces further inward were drawn by Sol, & then captured by Earths gravity. I cant recall (its been a long time since I read all of this) how scientists account for the relatively rounded shape of the Moon, since it has no atmosphere...but perhaps earths gravity pulling at its shape had something to do with that. At ANY rate, NOW this small satellite/planet, with earth, technically forms what scientists call a dual planetary system. I dunno. I just read a lot. Go watch the geniuses in the video, & be glad YOU werent another clueless captive of the State-run schools! LOL!
