More than half of new U.S. Army recruits are enlisting at least several years after high school graduation, according to a new RAND report. Most went to college or trade school after high school, or sought employment. When asked why they chose to join the Army, about one-third of these older recruits said that there were no jobs at home. Nearly half said that the only employment available was in dead end jobs. bit.ly/1gRlo0j
