✞Morning Devotional✞ In 1 Corinthians 10:12,13 Paul writes, “So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don’t fall! No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.” (New International Version) Handling idols requires us to rely upon the Lord, and to look to Him for not only strength, but the way out! When you experience temptation today, know that it is not beyond what you can handle with God as your refuge. Knowing us perfectly God is able to lead us as we are tempted so that we are able to stand firm in Christ Jesus! 1 Corinthians 10:14-17 Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry. I speak as to wise men; judge ye what I say. The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ? For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread.
