Morning Dubs! So the concerts are actually not going ahead? - TopicsExpress

Morning Dubs! So the concerts are actually not going ahead? Having watched how many matches at the weekend (?), every one of them ending up with a pitch invasion....... I will be appalled if the barrier thingy is back up in front of The Hill on Sunday. I mean, every single county who won over the weekend had fans invade the pitch. So how is it that the powers that be deem it ok only to fence us in? It not even like the stands in Croke Park have them up too. The only place in the country where fans are caged in like animals is Hill 16, and yet all over the country pitch invasions are taking place. Personally speaking, having watch Bryan and Bernard being interviewed on 2011s Six Steps to Sam and hearing them say how much they enjoyed the few minutes on the pitch after hearing the final whistle to enjoy and celebrate the win with their team mates (without a pitch invasion) is enough to make me stay off the pitch in future, but that is just my opinion. Apart from the pitch invasions , the difference in watching the matches from The Hill with and without the barrier are unreal. Its like being a two completely different events! Why (again!) are we the only ones who dont deserve to watch the match as everyone else does, why do we have to watch it from behind a screen? I would love to hear someones explanation for how its one rule for Dublin fans, and one completely different rule for the rest of the country . I am just so opposed to our fans being treated like this. Any thoughts or comments on this? - Karen.
