Morning Inspiration: Give generously to the poor, not grudgingly, for the Lord your God will bless you in everything you do. There will always be some in the land who are poor. That is why I am commanding you to share freely with the poor and with other Israelites in need. Deuteronomy 15:10-11 This is the perfect time of year to start a fresh new attitude about giving to the needy (and then continuing on a regular basis). Do it with a smile, and joy in your heart, because God loves a cheerful giver. He doesnt even want you to give, if youre not happy about sharing. Give in a way that shows respect for those in need, without making them feel bad about their situation. Most important, along with the financial aspect of sharing with the needy, give them hope! Share the love of Jesus in a way that shows how much He loves each and every one of His children. We best demonstrate and honor the blessings He brings to our lives, when we get excited about blessing others with our love, as well as part of our wealth.
