Morning Meditation A Christian that fails to continue learning is a danger; not only to themselves but to others. Lay persons should always seek to expand their understanding of the Word through daily reading, Bible Study, Church School and meditation. Pastors/Ministers should do the same, but should also read and study theological works, commentaries and if possible return to school. Woe be to the preacher that butchers the Word of God due to lack of knowledge! Woe be to the lay person that accepts the butchered Word of God due to their lack of knowledge! 2 Timothy 2:15 says, Work hard so you can present yourself to God and receive his approval. Be a good worker, one who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly explains the word of truth. Gods Word is to respected and we do ourselves a disservice by ignoring the study and cheating our way through it. One thing about cheating..... Cheating and mediocrity is easy...... an easy way to fail. Have a blessed day saints!
