Morning all! Here is your Tuesday forecast.... Scattered squally showers and windy conditions across the UK and Ireland today. The showers will be mostly over northern and western areas, but they will spread south-eastwards through the day. Northern Scotland will also see downpours of rain from overnight slowly clear away eastwards today, with the risk of snow over the peaks of the Highlands. Elsewhere, across eastern England the rain will clear away this morning to reveal bright skies. Although itll be sunny for most places, it will also feel chilly, mainly due to the winds thatll be gusting up to 50mph for most places, and up to 70mph across exposed parts of the north and west. However, later this afternoon the winds will tend to ease from the south-west and it should dry up across the Republic of Ireland and southern England later. Top temperatures of 10°C (50°F) in the north, and 16°C (61°F) in the south. :o) x
