Morning all Im just writing to ask if anyone has or knows of anyone that has anything sitting around their property of 1st or Second World War Vintage. What originally started as a school boy hobby and militaria collection escalated into a passion and became a full time hobby. I have over 15 year’s experience and specialize in mostly pre 1945 Memorabilia of all nationalities from both world wars and of all Services (Army/Navy and Air force) and I collect ANYTHING such as, equipment & field gear, pouches, holsters, belts, straps, knives, daggers, bayonets, swords, helmets, hats, side caps, brass and cloth unit badges, buttons & insignia, medals , uniforms – jackets, trousers, boots, any personal items , maps – pamphlets, training manuals, maps, aircraft and vehicle parts….. Anything that relates to that time period. I have currently set up my own Face Book page and I am actively seeking to obtain any of these time period related items setting up a virtual museum for people who want to see what I have. So anyone is free to have a look. https://facebook/groups/605491942795730/ Many of these fantastic people set aside their youth and innocence to fight a war for us have sadly since passed away, many taking their stories to the grave and I have been seeing an increasing trend of the next generation throwing some of these pieces of history in the trash or chucking it up on Ebay and sending it overseas!!
