Morning all, were back at 10am with the county and city counts but heres a quick recap of the city so far, and what to expect today: - The Galway City East count has been completed, with the seats going to Terry OFlaherty (Ind), Declan McDonnell (Ind), Michael Crowe (FF), Mairead Farrell (SF), Noel Larkin (Ind) and John Walsh (FG). Labour Cllr Nuala Nolan has lost her seat. - Theres been three counts in Galway City Central, with Mike Cubbard elected (Ind). Ollie Crowe (FF) is on target to be elected next, and all eyes will be on the transfers of Mayor Padraig Conneely (FG) and Billy Cameron (Lab), whove polled worse than previous years. Lab Cllr Colette Connolly will also lose her seat later today. - The first West ward count will begin at 10am. Tallies put Donal Lyons (Ind) top, followed by Catherine Connolly (Ind) and Peter Keane (FF), with the dogfight for the remaining three seats between Cathal O Conchuir (SF), Pearce Flannery (FG), Niall McNelis (Lab) and David Burke (FF). Cllr Michelle Murphy (FG) is at risk of losing her seat.
