Morning lovely likers :) Just a boring one this morning regarding costs of glasses. Each glass has three layers of extra fine craft glitter applied using non toxic craft adhesive (£7 for a tiny pot) in stages, with an hours drying time between each layer. This glitter is not just pound shop easily purchased - it is expensive and has to be specially ordered. The glasses are then sealed at the end of the process with a (costly) waterproofing sealant, and allowed to dry for a further hour before being carefully packaged in cellophane and finished with confetti and ribbon. As you can see, this makes each glass at least an evenings work :) So.....while I do appreciate that you can buy a wine glass for a couple of pounds, once the cost of the special glitter, sealant, adhesive, cellophane, ribbon, plus my time (which believe me with a two and four year old and a real job to boot that is few and far between lol) the actual cost of making these glasses is much higher. Hence why I cannot sell them for a couple of pounds. Hope that makes sense :) Have a lovely day! Its sunny yay! X
