Morning, not heading out just yet, barely breaking dawn. Feeding is somewhat easier, as we have a few round bales out for the freezing weather. Just have to feed a couple jacks and some jennets that are not with the herd. I have my biggest loser lot, and am rationing their hay, breaks my heart in this cold? should I not try to get weight off in the winter? i know they need feed for warmth. I just remember all those who have loved their equines to death. Just feeling guilty. Too much good grass. Think I will cut them loose this week, told Curt, minimum hay at this point to keep them healthy, hope some will naturally lose weight. Go figure, too fat too skinny, only thing just right, is my life. Thank you Lord. have a great day.
