#MorningDevotion Making Life Better Proverbs 3:27-28 (NIV) Do not withhold good from those who deserve it, when it is in your power to act. Do not say to your neighbor, “Come back later; Ill give it tomorrow— when you now have it with you. Weather you know it or not, you are a reward to somebody. Somebody or a group of people need you and you need to find them. You have the answer that they are looking for and when you find them you will realize that it is at that place that you will be greatly celebrated I have realized that I am not on this earth for myself, I am here to make someone’s life better because I have a solution to a problem that they are facing. My focus in life should not be on myself but I should seek to make others lives better. Everywhere Jesus went, he always made someone’s life better. Think about this: are you under pressure? Are you discouragement? Are you under a great amount of stress? Or are you in fear? If you notice all these things are focused on me and self. We really assume someone’s pressure of fear. This happens when I focus on me myself and I. I have realized no one wants to live in a universe of which am the centre of. Some of the most miserable people on the face of this earth are selfish people. The root word for miserable is miser. Misers are miserable because they have no time for others and they are not willing to share their resources. I cannot make the whole world better but I can make one life better. If you have the power in your hand to do good, then do not withhold it do not talk yourself out of it by giving excuses. This is the purpose of wealth and I am not just talking about money. Don’t be like the Dead Sea, receiving and not making another life better. . As a church and the body of Christ what justifies our existence? We are here because of the great commission. Matthew 28:19-20 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in[a] the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. To make another life better by leading them to the cross of Christ If we as a church are not making lives better then we need to close our doors because we are not fulfilling our purpose. My hand is not just a hand, it is the hand of Christ extended Galatians 6:10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers My nature should be that of Christ. Focus on making a life better. PRACTICAL APPLICATION Open your eyes, whose life can you make better today?
