If you had a bank that credited your account each morning with $86,000 that carried over no balance from day to day...Allowed you to keep no cash in your account, and every evening cancelled whatever part of the amount you failed to use during the day, what would you do? Draw out every cent every day, of course, and use it to your advantage! Well, you have such a bank, and its name is TIME! Every morning it credits you with 86,400 seconds. Every night it rules off as lost whatever of this you failed to invest to good purpose. It carries over no balances, it allows no overdrafts. Each day it opens a new account with you.. Ephesians 5:15-17 Pay careful attention then how you walk- not as unwise people but wise- making the most of the time because the days are evil. So don’t be foolish but understand what the Lords will is. Time is the common currency that God has given to all of us. It is the coin of life, the only coin you have and you make the choice of what to exchange it with. We are born into a world with 24 hours in a day and we all get to choose what to do with our time. Many of us don’t know how valuable time is and you can see it in the way we spend it. What are you exchanging your time for? The bible tells us that a foolish person is one who does not understand the Lords will and so they end up giving their time to the wrong things. How valuable is your time? When you and I understand the value of time then we will b careful what we give our time to. We will be careful and pay attention to how we walk and how we live our life. We will be focused to know and do Gods will and not give our time to distractions no matter how good and entertaining they may be. The days are evil and it would be wise to make wise use of the time God has given us. As we are , celebrating this new year what changes will you make to ensure that you use your time better than you did last year? Be careful then how you walk in 2015 making the most of the time because the days are evil.
