To achieve our goals, we are looking for an exceptional and experienced loan writer to help us build on our success. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a positive attitude; high levels of determination; drive and initiative with proven sales and networking skills. To be successful in this role you will enjoy the customer service and sales process including working to and achieving targets. It is essential that you have excellent written and verbal communication skills and enjoy being a strong team player as well as working autonomously where required. Strong financial literacy is essential. Key responsibilities of this role include: 1) Following up leads that are provided by the business in a professional manner to achieve high conversion ratios from inquiry to settlement. 2) Prospecting for new business opportunities from existing and new networks to eventually generate at least 25% of your total sales from your own initiative. 3) Conducting loan interviews inside and outside of standard business hours. 4) Managing all client interactions professionally and in compliance with all Mortgage Choice and Regulatory requirements. 5) Ensuring monthly targets are achieved. We will provide extensive training in Mortgage Choice systems and will provide qualified lead volumes. You will also receive processing and administrative support to allow you to focus on what you do best – seeing customers, helping them achieve their goals and settling loans. To be considered for this position you must have a Certificate IV in Financial Services (Finance/Mortgage Broking). Having the Diploma of Financial Services would be considered favorably.
