Mosby Heritage Area Association recently co-sponsored the erection of a Virginia Civil War Trails marker in the Mount Zion Community Cemetery honoring African-American Civil War veterans. Along with the Loudoun Civil War Sesquicentennial Steering Committee and the Black History Committee of the Friends of Thomas Balch Library of History and Genealogy, an excellent dedication ceremony was produced.
