Most At Risk Populations Network Secretariat MARPs delivers HIV/AIDS programme support to key affected population organisations in Uganda. The mandate of the MARPs program is to provide technical leadership in the development of policy, strategies, service delivery package and guidelines for high risk groups. The national program works closely with stakeholders such as government agencies, donor community, research institutions, civil society and MARPs networks. Procure and maintain (best value) services and utilities as are necessary for the office accommodation to be fit-for-purpose. 2. Procure and maintain (best value) office equipment and furniture as are necessary for the MARPs Network Secretariat team to function effectively. 3. Arrange (best value) transport and accommodation for members of the MARPs Network when they are working away from their base in Kampala. 4. Procure and ensure the (best value) maintenance of the MARPs Network’s material and human resource through efficient and effective operational systems 5. Maintain an accurate asset register of all the office equipment, furniture and other assets that is kept at the office premises. 6. From time to time as required ensure the office accommodation is in a good state of repair and decoration. 7. Ensure the safekeeping, regular insurance and servicing of any MARPs Network motor vehicles. 8. Ensure that visitors to the MARPs Network Secretariat receive an effective welcome and receive the information or advice that they are seeking. 9. Establish and maintain a (best value) account at a convenient supermarket to ensure the prompt supply of supplies needed to maintain the effective functioning of the office accommodation. 10. Plan, allocate and supervise the work of the Office Assistants and Driver 11. Ensure adherence through staff training, at all times to the appropriate provisions of the MARPs Network’s operations manual and standard operating procedures (SOPs) 12. Submit timely reports to the Executive Director 13. Carry out any other duties commensurate with the grade and falling within the scope of the post, as requested by the Executive Director.
