Most ghost shows never talk about residual hauntings because its better for TV for them to have something that can interact with humans (intelligent hauntings) - and it pisses me off when there are shows in which the hosts or investigators claim to get possessed in every other episode. If that were real, dont you think the spirit would randomly select whomever they wanted to, like a camera operator for an example? But somehow, its always the investigators? Cmon - I believe in ghosts - I see them and have lived with them since I was a child at almost every place Ive ever lived - but Im not so naive to believe that every haunted place is a demon waiting to possess you. I also get irate when these famous investigators get scared like a bunch of school kids in a house --- if you are legit, you know what you are getting yourself into and if youve done it often enough you should know how to handle it. I seen an apparition float through my house the other night and I didnt scream and run out of the room - I actually laughed my ass off because it didnt have feet or a head, and it was carrying a huge pink purse -- it wasnt even near the floor yet it was walking like it thought it was on the floor. It was odd - While I do love ALL of the paranormal shows, sometimes I think they have let the producers of the shows talk them into being a little silly.
