Most hitchhiking days are good, some are great and occasionally theres a pretty bad one. Today it took me more than six hours for the 150km from Byron Bay to Brisbane. Only short rides, stranded under the fierce Australian sun for hours... but in the end, I arrived in Brisbane, nothing bad happened. And hey, I still got all the way from Sydney to Brisbane for free, meeting awesome people and occasionally I got even given food and drinks.
