Most memorable: Happening upon a lake in Whitefield NH that hosts a nesting pair of Loons. The chicks had just hatched - there is a second one under her left wing. I spent half of that day and most of the next sitting in my kayak hidden in the reeds. This happened very early on in my birding career which really began with these shots. Once I got a taste of bringing these images to others, I was hooked.
