Most of my posts for CDDF Productions are about beer, videos about beer, and the up-coming documentary about the same. This post is about the another aspect of our production company - our work with local non-profit foundations for, and people with, rare neurological conditions. You should be aware that Minnesota, particularly the Twin Cities Metro, is a world renown center for high-quality neurological research and treatment. Our connection to this local community of dedicated people is through Gulin Oz. Gulin not only studies these devastating diseases, she takes the time to work with these organizations to raise awareness and reach out to those that have ataxia. Because of the status of Minnesota in the global neurological research and resource network, positive impact on the local level will resonate around the world. The real benefit of CDDF Productions - otherwise known as Gulin and me - is that the two main aspects of our current projects, Crafted to Last and Ataxia Awareness, connect local communities in novel ways. I mean, the videos we have created provide a direct connection between the craft beer communities and the non-profit brain research communities that are all right here in the neighborhood and just around the corner. You can participate in this effort right now. Today. You can help me test whether the mechanism of social amplification CDDF Productions has built will actually work. Heres how: Go to this link: americanbrainfoundation.org/go/neurofilmfestival Register, watch the videos, and vote for ours - Still Standing Tall - in the Neuro Film Festival 2014. Specifically those of you in the local beer community that have positively interacted with us during production of Crafted to Last. Take a few minutes and lend us a hand. Share and encourage, please. Thank you.
