Most of our Media bombard us with pics and stories about Muslims that carry a lot of negativity, then turn around and complain they dont integrate enough. Who can blame them when we encourage the simple minded to confront them on public transport? Every wave of migrants has suffered the same claims and Aussies have always given the new arrivals a hard time, but these days we seem to be being encouraged to think this is something unique. Its not, but our reaction seems to be more hostile with this encouragement. Those of us who have a few summers under our belts can still remember the fear mongering about how folk from Vietnam were coming here to bomb our cities.
