Most of their wives are kept so why should they care what other women make? Even if their women worked, fair pay for women is a dark age issue - and so are the GOP. Old white men who couldnt give a shit about anyone but themselves. And people actually support them. When the cost of living has quadrupled since the last cost of living raise, how the hell can anyone sustain a life? No matter if you work at McDonalds or as a professional - your pay still needs to increase at a reasonable rate. If it doesnt, then money does not go back into the economy because there isnt any then the cost for social aid to feed those same people skyrockets. Simple economics. No raise means WE pay for it while the GOP convinces the public that it is all lazy people looking for a handout. WITH the raise, those people can go without that social aid reducing that debt to US and greedy corporations are forced to pay people what they are worth instead of gouging them and forcing them into poverty. It is ridiculous to think that so many people are so stupid that they believe the lies they are told and actually help line the pockets of people who would step on them before they ever offered a hand to help you up. We are a nation of millions, not a monopoly of millionaires...well...we used to be. Fair pay is literally what it implies. Nothing more. Whats the problem? Would you argue that bankers, politicians and other corps pay is FAIR??? I dont think so.
